In terms of durability, genuine leather Comfort meets the highest demands: We carefully improve the surface and pigmentation of our 1.2 to 1.4 mm thick top-quality cowhide leather to slightly conceal the natural unevenness without loosing it completely. The closed surface structure is extremely durable and friction-proof under heavy use – because the opaque colour layer prevents liquids from penetrating the hide. Finally, natural-looking grain provides the naturally beautiful look of classic leather.

Please keep in mind that the structure of the leather on a covered sofa looks slightly different than on the swatch – when stretched, the grain will appear slightly smoother. Over time, the leather acquires an individual character of its own, becoming more and more beautiful.

  LEATHER BUFFALO

The untreated genuine leather Buffalo makes every sofa unique. The beautifully structured premium-quality semi aniline leather is 1.6 to 1.8 mm thick. Thanks to the natural grain given to the thick leather in the tanning and dying process, the surface retains the character of genuine leather. The breathable surface quickly adjusts to the human body temperature and feels particularly smooth and soft against your skin.

Genuine leather Comfort / Softline / Fabric : Parts under heavy use such as seats, armrests and back rests are covered in Comfort leather. Parts that are not subject to direct load, such as the rear, side parts or the parts near the floor are covered in a “Softline” synthetic leather of a matching colour (no fabric on the rear side, as sold by many furniture shops). Do not hesitate to place your sofa in the middle of the room – the difference between the real leather and the synthetic leather will be practically invisible. The seat cushions and back cushions are covered with a fabric. This budget solution offers a particularly good price-performance ratio.
